The basic conclusion was that it was a bit premature if you were talking about a serious, funded start-up. Especially when there are things like: Amazon S3 / EC2 / AWS outage this morning. Compared cost there vs. second company that raised $500K and used S3 and other platforms. By definition need redundancy.
