Especially when there are things like: Amazon S3 / EC2 / AWS outage this morning. Some other points - LAMP,Net, Java - doesn't make much difference. Google App Engine - take more than two seconds to process we are going to kill your request. Must be willing to work the way Google expects. Server and client in Java.
