Business incubators for sharing services were all the rage back in the days of the dot-com bubble (700 for profit, many more non-profit). Incubators I hear mentioned most often include YCombinator , led by Paul Graham in Silicon Valley, and TechStars , located in Boston, Boulder, New York City, and Seattle.

Business incubators for sharing services were all the rage back in the days of the dot-com bubble (700 for profit, many more non-profit). The goal of most business incubators today is to strengthen the local economy, and commercialize new technologies. However, many research and technology parks also house incubation programs.

Aber Whitcomb is a partner at startup co-working and incubation community io/LA , CTO of SGN , and former co-founder and CTO of MySpace. At io/LA we launched a new 8000 sq/ft co-work and incubator space in Hollywood. The same is true online, as the desktop web experience is quickly being overtaken by the mobile experience.

Costin Tuculescu: Freebinar.com is a completely free alternative for web conferencing and webinar users. It's not a freemium model.

Today the Traveling Geeks saw presentations from 11 interesting startups at French incubator, the Paris Development Agency. Stribe offers a plug and play service for instantly creating a social network on any Web site. The company is targeting recruiters with problems screening candidates.
