University Lab Partners, UCI Launches Startup Competition

Irvine-based University Lab Partners and the SBDC @ UCI Beall Applied Innovation said this morning that the two organizations have launched a new, startup competition, which is aimed at accelerating both life sciences and technology startups. The new competition is open until June 12th.

That was primarily driven by the economy; when the economy is down, investments are down, and it is increasingly difficult to d a startup. Launchpad is a virtual incubator and accelerator, where we put companies in and give them quantitative and qualitative feedback and mentorship. It's been kind of lean.
