What’s the Real Deal with AngelList?

I hope I straddled people’s points of view well enough not to have offended anybody while adding a framework for how I think about the service. Where I think Robert’s comments are slightly wrong is that AngelList is a net positive for VCs. 2011 is one big cocktail party all over again. Isolated incident?
