San Diego-based medical device provider ResMed has acquired healthcare software developer Brightree , in a deal worth $800M, according to the companies. ResMed said it will pay $800M in cash for ResMed, which had net sales of approximately $113M in 2015.

NantHealth reported a net loss of $71.6M in total revenues for 2015. NantHealth said it intends to list on the NASDAQ Global Market as NH. The IPO is being underwritten by Jeffries, Cowen and Company, First Analysis Securities Co., The filing is the first IPO filing for a Southern California technology firm so far in 2016.
