Bruce Brown: I was working in 1985 writing keyboard and mouse drivers for Windows version 1. Digital Equipment Corporation had a computer called the Rainbow Computer, and I was writing 80x86 assembler for the hardware adaptation layer of Windows for the Rainbow. I moved to the Santa Monica office of Microsoft Consulting Service.
