What I want to answer with this post (long though it may be) is: Why did Web 2.0 Brands didn’t advertise their web pages they advertised “AOL Keywords.&# You couldn’t pick up a magazine in the 96-99 timeframe without seeing AOL Keywords advertised everywhere. Social Networking in Web 1.0:

When I first got into the industry it was 2007. 2010 was the year of the “super angel&# and 2011 has to date been the year of unbelievably highly priced B,C & D rounds of venture capital.
