And then in the late 90’s money crept in, swept in to town by public markets, instant wealth and an absurd sky-rocketing of valuations based on no reasonable metrics. Starting in 2009 I began writing checks consistently, year-in and year-out. I am having fun again. Truly it’s the first time I’ve felt this way in 5 years or so.
