The acquisition is the third acquisition involving either EMC or VMware from Clearstone's portfolio, including Muddu's last company, Kazeon (acquired by EMC in 2009), and IT management software provider Integrien (acquired by VMware in 2010). Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sumant Mandal sat on the board of Cetas.
