Disney Takes Stake In MLB Spinout BAMTech

According to Disney, it will pay $1 billion in two installments, now and in January 2017, for its stake in BAMTech, which is being carved out of MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM). According to Disney, it has the option to acquire majority ownership of BAMTech in the coming years.
