Advertising is also what allows you to watch Hulu for free, use Yahoo! So PPC (pay-per-click) advertising on social networks has performed poorly to date. First, I have chosen who to follow on Twitter so the information in my stream is self selected. Why do you think this form of advertising will be effective? Just ask MySpace.
