Monrovia, California-based Prolacta Bioscience , the venture backed firm developing human milk fortifiers for premature infants, announced this morning that it will be donating funds to the Susan G. The firm said it will commit a minimum amount of $25,000 annually to fund programs at Komen.

Prolacta has been developing processes which process human milk, and convert that into human milk fortifier which helps prevent medical issues often encountered by feeding premature babies with cow-based fortifiers.
