I was reading Chris Dixon’s blog tonight. I came across this blog post about getting a computer science degree as the best degree for getting into venture capital or working at a VC-backed start up. I then worked in a computer store called Software Centre in high school and college (UCSD). So back to MBAs.

I made an investment in a company with deep domain knowledge. “Imagine you were a Phd wireless chip designer out of UCSD and then Qualcomm. How come you guys only invest when you have proof of success?&#
