Calabasas-based audio technology provider DTS said today that its DTS-HD audio decoding technology is now available via a systems-on-a-chio (SoC) from Amlogic , for use on Android-based streaming and over-the-top (OTT) set-top boxes. DTS-HD is used to decode audio streams from video-on-demand, broadcast, and other sources.
