Join local organizations like OCTANe , TechStars or Launchpad LA. You need to make it an effort by researching on the web and going and doing 50 coffee meetings with people. If you’re three s -hot kids from Stanford, Caltech or MIT you might be able to push valuation higher. There are other ways you can get help.
