The part of the movement that resonates the most with me (in my words) is that entrepreneurs should keep their capital expenditures really low while they’re experimenting with their product and determining whether there is a large market for what they do. This benefits you, the entrepreneur. This is total bullshit.

Plus, just last week we closed our first round of funding, worth $2M, including Peter Lee from Baroda Ventures, Paul Martino at Bullpen Capital--he was the founder of Aggregate Knowledge and Tribe, and also seeded Zynga--and Prism Ventureworks. Another guy who is helping is Richard Yen, who is at Saban Capital, and has joined as an advisor.

We're providing a very unique benefit, which is an entrepreneur-friendly incubator. We've had tremendous success so far, with six graduations, with $55 million in early stage capital raised by those companies coming through the incubator after only two years of operations. Once they pass that, they get into the incubator.

We have been using LinkedIn for both sourcing recruits and reviewing backgrounds for recruits. Product Manager Entrepreneur Mark Geller SEO for Startups Startup Version 1.0 Its been great to zero in on very specific skillsets. The level of resumes we get through our LinkedIn networks is top notch.

My company had raised venture capital in April 2001 but we were told that there may never be any more coming. I learned how to establish a technology center in India and how to manage disparate development teams (and this has drive my thoughts also about what does NOT work.). We built a long-term relationship.
