West Hollywood-based LaserAway, an aesthetic dermatology business which offers laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, laser skin rejuvenation services via a series of clinics, has scored private equity funding. According to the company, it raised funding from the Private Equity Group of Ares Management Corporation.

TheRealReal said it will open up a "concept store" in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, where it will both offer up its luxury goods and also accept consignments. According to TheRealReal the new retail store will both include a 12,000 foot space for women and a 5,500 square foot "men's store".

The funding came from private equity investor Magnet Companies. Dear Media is led by CEO Michael Bosstick, and the company was co-founded with Raina Penchansky.
