Ventura-based outdoor apparel company Patagonia has partnered with a startup developing a high performance, synthetic silk fabric, made out of natural proteins. The investment round came from Nan Fung, Innovation Endeavors, Alafi Capital, East West Capital, Foundation Capital and Founders Fund.
