DemandMedia has already scaled a tech team to a considerable size in Santa Monica. My commute, for example, from Santa Monica to Century City is less than 15 minutes each way and I never have to take the freeway. In content creation we definitely have assets other markets don’t have.

I live in the city of Santa Monica. In San Diego you have Qualcomm so an entire mobile industry has been spawned. Everybody knows about the leaked memo of AOL’s Tim Armstrong saying he wants to up his content from 4% video to 70% video. LA is producing content at scale. Let me use LA as an example.
