Santa Barbara-based cloud computing software firm Eucalyptus is opening up a new, joint R&D lab in Shanghai, China, after inking a strategic partnership with a Chinese company. 32 Research Institute (CETC32) , a large IT solutions and service provider in China. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
