Not to mention the granddaddy of them all and arguably the first firm to properly do an accelerator – Idealab. Sam is an uber-networker, savvy, helpful, product-oriented leader who had a great eye for young entrepreneurs and a passion about helping them. Idealab is still going strong. Almost none remain from that era.

Actually, they’ll get even more attention because this selection will put them in an even more exclusive peer group and will introduce them to even more connected mentors. You don’t need a network.
