Your contractor wrote a great V1 of the product and it helped you get angel funding. I know he’s smart but you wouldn’t hire a Javascript developer to do your database design – would you? Consider it a sales & marketing expense for them. Here’s a hack for you. I asked a simple question.

By definition, you read blogs. They became both a thought leader in the space as well as a beautifully designed product. So you developed a product for the mommy community? Do you have sales productivity software? The disadvantage is that you can’t install a lot of additional tools that use Javascript.
