Santa Monica-based Demand Media announced today that it has named Michael Kirby as head of its mobile efforts. Kirby joins Demand Media from GOGII, where he was Chief Revenue Officer. Kirby has been appointed SVP & GM, Mobile, to lead the company's mobile strategy.
