Thousand Oaks-based biotech Amgen is cutting 300 jobs in San Francisco, as part of a shutdown of the South San Francisco operations of subsidiary Onyx Pharmaceuticals , according to a memo leaked from the company on Tuesday. Amgen plans to transfer workers in San Francisco back to its Thousand Oaks headquarters.
