We have been using LinkedIn for both sourcing recruits and reviewing backgrounds for recruits. Tony Karrer is CEO/CTO of TechEmpower , a Los Angeles Web Development firm, and is considered one of the top technologists in e-Learning. He has been the CTO for several start-ups, most notably eHarmony.

Once you build it, they will now ask you about the key metrics that they need proven in order to see if you really are a good investment. Even with these, you will have paper-tested your MVP, but the reality is that customers will not be able to assess the value to them until they actually use it. eHarmony for me fell into that camp.
