To this day I’m astounded that IBM, Google, Sun, Microsoft and others didn’t offer this service and Amazon did. At the time we viewed Amazon’s offering, EC2 as too nascent. He convinced me that the storage infrastructure was stable, reliable & secure. Work it did. Think about it.
