In my experience as a mentor and advisor, I find that many of you expect these relationships will just happen , without any overt effort on your part. For example, as an entrepreneur, you need investors, so you need to start networking early, because they won’t find you. Don’t forget entertainment or family connections.

Many women rose to the top of their careers only to discover how unsatisfying, soul-draining and unhealthy a lifestyle it was and completely changed careers to find satisfaction doing something completely different where they once again became successful, but in a more balanced manner. But I digress. Very inspiring on so many levels.
