I was graduated with a double degree in economics & political science from UCSD in 1991. It was the midst of a recession and I was happy to have any job at all let alone what was considered one of the more prestigious business jobs at the time graduating from UCSD. When I started my second company I was a serial entrepreneur.

Every price comparison out there, whether that's Google Products, Bizrate, or other sites, can find books, but you can only do it one at a time. How did you come up with the web site? Had you thought you'd be an entrepreneur when you were in college? You've got to find each one, and research them online. Thanks, and good luck!

The next major change that we see, is now that they're online, they're becoming more web based, and adding things like rich media. What's the story behind the company--I understand this started at UCSD? They got an NSF grant, and basically started up the original web site, as a video web site. READ MORE>>.

So I invested in Maker Studios , which is now the 3rd largest producer of Internet video on the web. But its objective is to teach the world web design or to program computers. He then of course launched the FOWA (future of web apps) conference , which was very successful. Full stop. TreeHouse is also a video company.
