Los Angeles-based Palomar Ventures is in a new funding with Soros Fund Management, in a deal worth $128.4M to Illinois wireless firm ExteNet Systems. Palomar is represented on ExteNet's board by Kevin Jacques. ExteNet designs, builds and operates distributed wireless networks.

Be wary of individuals or funds sourced from offshore. I’ve had startup founders tell me that it’s only about the color of the money, but I disagree.
