Los Angeles-based MyLife , the people search service run by Jeffrey Tinsley, said this morning that it has inked two partnerships with online information services. MyLife said it has tied into WhitePages and Ancestry.com, both owned by The Generations Network Inc., MyLife has raised $25M in funding, from Oak Investment Partners.
Los Angeles-based Titan Gaming is announcing this morning that it has scored $1M in an angel funding round, from notable local angel investors. According to Titan, it is focused on developing a "complete" gaming platform for skill-based matchmaking, tournaments and points or cash competitions.
Titan is backed by $1M in funding from William Quigley and Jim Armstrong of Clearstone Ventures; Brock Pierce; MP3.com's Steuer was most recently a VP at Twistbox, and has also served at THQ, MINICK, and Distefora.
