Jody didn’t exactly have an easy time fund raising because he’s not one of the prototypical Silicon Valley funded entrepreneurs. It was created to provide peace of mind to moms looking for safe, healthy products for their kids. Jody self-funded the company and worked from his spare bedroom in February 2009.
