I finally got around to writing it having read Fred Wilson’s post about what a CEO does. Naturally the countries reacted negatively to reporting to a centralized figure in the UK (and of course to no longer reporting to the CEO). Both are basically people businesses.

You should read Ronan Farrow’s article and decide for yourself but I remain thankful that investigative reporters continue to shine a spotlight on leadership in America?—?whether Moonves was seen as a leader and somebody who built careers and was a mentor and a champion to many. whether in government or private enterprise.
