Jones, who is CEO of Santa Monica-based Science, was formerly CEO of MySpace, and also founded Tsavo Media and Userplane. Ranker said it is now getting around 4.5 million monthly unique visitors.

Goodreads Decouples From Amazon

According to Goodreads, the move came due to restrictive limitations on Amazon.com's book API, such as inability to use the information on mobile apps, and inability to link to competing bookstores.
