In my show with Dana Settle (near the very end of the video if you’re interested) I said two things: 1) I’m routing for Huddle because I always route for UK-based companies and 2) I was worried that they were spread too broadly and perhaps they should focus around a few key areas in which they can build market-leading products.

When I started my second company in 2005 we decided to do everything differently. Our chief architect, Ryan Lissack, wanted to store our data in Amazon’s new (at the time) storage product called S3 that enabled us to store all our data in their facility and we’d pay by the MBs uploaded / downloaded.
