The movie, “The Social Network” might have had more of an impact on creating future entrepreneurs than any other event of the past 5 years. So of course returns from 2000-2010 were subpar on average for the industry. By 2010-2011 this had shrunk by half again, averaging under $15 billion. Bottom of the sales funnel.
