In 2011 the company was sold to Nordstrom for $270 million in a deal that has been widely seen as a success for both buyer and seller. We both wanted to put energy into GRP’s platform of services that provide more value to our investments than merely capital. I made some reference calls. They were effusive. He was stubborn.

Ian Miller: FatCloud is a data management and software platform company with a NoSQL database. It''s a distributed data platform built for scale, and build for accelerated application development.
