Among the many factors to consider when choosing a web development framework, raw performance is easy to objectively measure. Last week, we posted the results of benchmarking several web application development and frameworks. Third place is held by plain Java Servlets running on Caucho''s Resin Servlet container. Two Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7-2600K workstations with 8 GB memory each (early 2011 vintage) for the i7 tests. Web servers.
