Los Angeles-based Hyperion Motors says it is taking aim at the hydrogen fuel cell refueling market, with the launch of a product to provide both hydrogen refueling and battery charging. The company said it expects to start rollout of those products in 2023.

As part of a new pilot program, Blade has given 200 people in San Francisco and Silicon Valley exclusive access to its mobile app, allowing them to book helicopters, private jets and even seaplanes at a moments notice for $200 per seat, at least. Called UberAIR, Uber will offer short-term shareable flights to commuters as soon as 2023.

Archer Aviation, the electric aircraft startup that recently announced a deal to go public via a merger with a blank-check company, plans to launch a network of its urban air taxis in Los Angeles by 2024. United Airlines, which has a major hub in Los Angeles, was one of the investors in the deal.
