Los Angeles-based fiber optic and data center infrastructure provider Wilcon announced today that it has acquired dark fiber provider Freedom Dark Fiber Networks. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Freedom Dark Fiber Networks is also based in Southern California, and is a provider of dark fiber in the region.
ThousandOaks-based Teledyne Technologies said Wednesday that it has signed a contract with The Boeing Company , to develop and supply aircraft data acquisition systems for the Boeing Next-Generation 737 and 737 MAX, along with the new information management system for the 777, Next-Generation 737, 737 MAX and 747-8 production aircraft.
ThousandOaks-based wireless networking equipment maker Xirrus has been acquired by Riverbed , to help bolster its SD WAN efforts, the two said on Wednesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The acquisition comes just over 12 years after Xirrus was founded by Dirk Gates in 2005.
