Santa Monica-based Demand Media announced today that it has named Michael Kirby as head of its mobile efforts. Kirby has been appointed SVP & GM, Mobile, to lead the company's mobile strategy. Kirby joins Demand Media from GOGII, where he was Chief Revenue Officer.
