You own the IP you create. You struggle to get advertisers to pay your CPM rates and get your page clicks up in a business where you become a near commodity to ever other website out there. Yet you can run a conference and mint money. Tech blogs can theoretically scale, tech conferences are pure service businesses.

Thanks to technology they can use IP camera hosting to have their systems all set up using cloud computing, and then activate them from their personal watches. This allows for the user to project TV screens, complex 3d models, videogames, and even video conferences onto the real world.

Defensibility is also big--we're not interested in the me-too's without some unique IP. At GRP, we don't care about patents--they're nice to have, but not required--but we're looking for defensible IP in an area with an interesting, and big, idea. That's what we're looking for--really big ideas, plus I'd echo everything Richard said.
