San Diego-based Staccato Communications, which develops ultra-wideband (UWB) and wireless USB technology, has scored a design win with Imation. The link uses a USB dongle to connect a laptop to the projector, powered by Staccato's chips and supporting software. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
