I was an angel investor in his company, made a bunch of calls on his behalf and then I personally sent it out on AngelList. I was sick of hyperbole articles pronouncing that VCs were “scared or AngelList&# or “it was disrupting VC&# or some other BS exaggeration like that. Through this process he raised $2 million.
