Beverly Hills-based > Myspace is claiming growth in its users, saying that it has added over 1 million new signups to the service, after it launched a new Myspace Music Player. Myspace has been undergoing an extensive revamp, since Specific Media--headed by Tim Vanderhook--picked up Myspace from News Corporation in June of last year.

Beverly Hills-based Myspace , the online entertainment site now owned by Specific Media, said this morning that it has released a new music player. The site claimed that it has a library that is three times the size of other online catalogs, clocking in at 42 million songs.

Social networking at it’s finest… I’m sitting at a local brewery watching football with my wife and friends a month back and I get an email from someone who had just visited my Meetup.com site. I created the site to make new friends and to learn things. Hmmmm… OK! Now this is going to be fun.
