X1 Discovery Hits The Cloud

Pasadena-based X1 Discovery , the electronic discovery offshoot of X1 and Idealab, reported Tuesday that it has launched a fully cloud-deployable version of its software. X1 Discovery said the new product, X1RD, is a "sister product" to the firm's more traditional, software installed X1 Social Discovery application.

Twitter Takes Aim At UberMedia, Shuts Access To Twidroyd

According to a statement on Twitter's blog, it shut down the access, for "violating our policies." UberMedia is backed by Idealab. Taking aim at Pasadena-based UberMedia , the Twitter client firm headed by Bill Gross, Twitter has shut down access to the firm's API for two of UberMedia's clients, including Twidroyd and UberTwitter.
