X1 Discovery Secures Backing From Investors

X1 Discovery Hits The Cloud

Pasadena-based X1 Discovery , the electronic discovery offshoot of X1 and Idealab, reported Tuesday that it has launched a fully cloud-deployable version of its software. The firm said the new X1 Rapid Discovery search product can be deployed anywhere in the cloud "within minutes", including deploying through Amazon Web Services.

Twitter Takes Aim At UberMedia, Shuts Access To Twidroyd

According to a statement on Twitter's blog, it shut down the access, for "violating our policies." UberMedia is backed by Idealab. Taking aim at Pasadena-based UberMedia , the Twitter client firm headed by Bill Gross, Twitter has shut down access to the firm's API for two of UberMedia's clients, including Twidroyd and UberTwitter.
