BlackLine Systems , the developer of financial close software headed by Therese Tucker, is planning a big hiring boost this, expecting to hire more than 50 more employees this year on top of an existing 75 people working at the company. BlackLine was previously located up the street in Calabasas.

We spoke with Therese Tucker , CEO and founder of the Calabasas firm. Therese is the former CTO at SunGard Treasury Systems, and has a wealth of experience in the financial software market. I had actually retired from SunGard as CTO before starting BlackLine. I've always worked on financial systems. How big is the company now?
