According to Connecticut-based Fanzter, Steamboat's Dan Beldy joins the firm's board of directors.

Blippy (and their competitor Swipely – which was founded by Angus Davis , who has a great track record from both Netscape and TellMe, both aim to capitalize on the era of consumers living more openly ala Twitter, Foursquare and Gowalla.
