Los Angeles-based eTailPet , a new startup which helps pet store owners create online e-commerce sites, has received a round of seed funding, the company said this week. As part of the funding, Moonshot Capital's Kelly Perdew, along with pet industry executive Michael Baker of Pet Food Experts, both join the company's board of directors.

Size of the funding was not announced. The funding was led by Moonshots Capital. The startup is led by Founder and CEO Bere Giannini.

Hire professionals to handle the details of company formation paperwork when you first start up. Whether it’s something as extensive as filing patents, more simple trademark registrations, and or putting appropriate documentation in place, don’t ignore this and don’t rely on boilerplate online templates.
